I moved to Canada in 2023 as a permanent resident.

I currently work as a Manager in Corporate Treasury at Canada’s largest bank, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). Specifically, I work with the Data Controller Group in Liquidity Risk. My role places me at the juncture of reporting (regulatory and internal), data analysis (including analytics and automation), risk, and banking financials.

From September 2021 - April 2023, I worked as an Associate in the Risk Management Group of DBS Bank, India. The Risk Management Group actively manages the bank's risk exposure ensuring that returns are maximised against an acceptable risk profile. My role was focused on data analytics and modelling, database management and automation, internal policy reviews, and report creation.

I am a 2021 graduate of the PGP in Management (MBA) at the Indian School of Business (Top 40 global, #1 India as per FT Global MBA Ranking 2023).

My interests lie at the intersection between finance, macroeconomics, statistics/econometrics, and analytics. I have published multiple papers in these areas in reputed international journals.

Prior to my MBA, I was a research fellow with a focus on data analysis at the Azim Premji Foundation (APF) in Bangalore, India. Before this, I completed my MA in Economics from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada (2014-2016), and my BSc in Economics from the University of East Anglia in Norwich, UK (2011-2014). I have assisted in teaching courses on macroeconomics, microeconomics, econometrics, STATA, and LaTeX.

Outside work, I enjoy reading, hiking, swimming, photography, singing, and volunteering. I have volunteered with several non-profit organisations over the years involved in tackling both social and environmental issues.
